Insight Day with a Leading European Bank!

The BNP Paribas Discovery Day has been designed to give you an insight into the world of Corporate and Institutional Banking.

At BNP Paribas, we understand that choosing a career path can be challenging; there are so many options to choose from. Our Discovery Day will give you an insight into the world of Corporate and Institutional Banking where you will be introduced to two of our key Business areas - Global Markets and Global Banking, as well as learning about Sustainable Finance.

What to expect:
You will participate in a number of interactive workshops. These include:

  • Improving your networking and communication skills
  • Boosting your personal brand
  • Competing in a trading game
  • CV clinic - tips for enhancing your own CV for jobs and apprentice/university applications.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to network with members of the business and hear from some of our current graduates and apprentices on their own journey and experiences in pursuing a career in Banking.

🤔 Who can apply?

  • Year 12 and Year 13 students who are currently studying for A-Levels, or an equivalent qualification.
  • We are looking for bright, ambitious candidates with a willingness to learn, who have a passion for financial services, and have a creative mindset. 

📌 Where and when?

  • The Discovery Day will run on Wednesday 29th October, 2025, at our London office located at 10 Harewood Avenue, NW1 6AA, London

  • Upload your CV and answer some questions which include sharing your motivation on why you wish to attend this event.
  • The deadline is the 16th September 2025.

Tips on applying:

  1. Apply early, not last minute. The best applications come in early. It gives you a head start and shows initiative - recruiters notice. Put a reminder in your calendar to prompt you.
  2. Keep it clear. Your CV should be easy to read and no more than one page. Use bullet points, short sentences and clear structure. Ensure you include your education details, subjects you are studying, extra curricular activities, work experience.
  3. Write like a human. Use AI tools to help structure or check tone, but speak in your own voice. Generic applications fade fast. We want to hear what makes you, you.
  4. Show your interest. Mention insight days, virtual simulations (like Forage orAmplifyME), or finance podcasts and newsletters. They show you’re not just interested in a job - you’re invested in the industry.
