Results Dates and Post-Exam Results Services

Results Days

  • GCE A Level results day – Thursday 18th August 2022
  • GCSE results day – Thursday 25th August 2022

On occasion, some students may believe they have been awarded an incorrect grade.  It is very unusual that this is the case.  There is no procedure to appeal grades.  However, students are entitled to request a review of their results.  There is an opportunity to request either a clerical re-check or a review of marking.  Neither of these options include an exam paper being remarked, and both options will incur a fee.  The documents below give details of the two options and the fees that each exam board charges.  Students must be aware that following a results review, grades may stay the same, go up, or go down.

Please read the documents below carefully before requesting a review of results.  It is also highly advisable for students to speak to a member of school staff before submitting a request.  School staff will be available at school during the following times to offer advice:

  • Thursday 18th August: 8am to 10am
  • Thursday 25th August: 9.00am to 10.30am (not for conversations about entry to Hazelwick Sixth Form)
  • Friday 26th August: 9am to 3pm (for Hazelwick Sixth Form applicants, by appointment)

Students can also contact the exams officer, Mrs Keeley (examsoffice@hazelwick.org.uk), if they need further assistance.
