You do not have to go to university to build a career at a firm like Deloitte.

On Wednesday 7 October we're taking Year 12 and Year 13 students inside Deloitte — a Big Four firm and the largest professional services business in the world — to explore their BrightStart apprenticeships and work experience schemes — the route into the firm for school leavers, where you earn a salary, work on real client projects and study towards a professional qualification at the same time.

Their people will explain what the programme involves, which business areas you can join, and what it's genuinely like to start your career there at 18. If you're weighing up an apprenticeship against university, this is the evening that gives you the information to decide.

Deloitte is one of the Big Four — and the biggest of them by revenue. Around 460,000 people across 150 countries, advising the majority of the world's largest public companies on the decisions that shape them.

That means the work is genuinely varied: auditing household-name businesses, advising governments, building technology that changes how organisations run. It also means the brand on your CV opens doors for the rest of your career — and you'd be earning it from 18, not 21.

01	BrightStart, explained properly. What a Deloitte apprenticeship actually is — the structure, the qualifications you work towards, and what your first year looks like.
02	Four business areas to explore. Audit & Assurance, Tax, Consulting and Technology. Very different work, all open to school leavers — find out which one fits you.
03	Meet experienced professionals. People who do the job now, including some who joined the same way you would. Ask them anything.
04	Deloitte's culture, honestly. What it's like to be the youngest person in the room, and the support and inclusion that make that work.
05	Your questions, live. Bring them. The students who ask get the most out of these evenings.
