New Taster Lecture! - Physiology of the Heart

New Taster Lecture! - Physiology of the Heart

New Taster Webinar added!

We recently contacted you to share our up-and-coming taster lectures; 'How clinical pharmacology is getting us out of this pandemic’ & 'Drug journey of a painkiller'.

Having seen many bookings for both events, we are delighted to announce that we have added a further third Taster Webinar to the series, ‘Physiology of the heart’ on Wednesday 6th January, 4pm – 4:45pm.

This free to attend Taster Lecture will follow the same format as the December events, and will give insight into study on the Biomedical Sciences BSc at St George’s, University of London. Your students will be given the opportunity to ask any questions they may have in relation to the physiology of the heart and how it supports circulation to Dr David Gillott, Senior Lecture in Reproductive Physiology at St George’s.

The heart has the ability to beat over 3 billion times in a person's life. In this taster lecture, we’ll explore the anatomy of the organ and how it supports circulation in the body.
Dr David Gilliott is a Senior Lecturer in Reproductive Physiology. His research interests relate to cancer and infertility and he is currently co-head of the Physiology section for the Institute of and Medical Education.

Please also find a PowerPoint Poster attached advertising these events which you may wish to share in student spaces.
