Social Mobility Foundation: Reminder of EXTENDED DEADLINE for our free 2021 programmes!
We are getting in touch to remind you that we have extended the application window to the free of charge Aspiring Professionals Programme for students from Hazelwick School until 12 noon on Friday 29th January!
Please do encourage your students to apply to our free of charge programmes; we would love to support them this year.

The APP J.P. Morgan Finance and Digital Programmes are the perfect opportunity for you if you are interested in the world of banking, finance, investment and/or digital technology or cyber security.
This programmes will offer students
- a two-week internship, held either at J.P. Morgan London offices (if government guidance allows) or virtually
- mentoring by a professional at J.P. Morgan
- skills sessions on employability, networking and university applications

APP Freshfields is a new programme for students who aspire to become lawyers or work in business, and want to know what it is really like to work for a multinational law firm.
We have partnered with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP to provide these students with an insight into their chosen career.
This programme will offer students
- a one-week virtual internship with work shadowing
- mentoring by a professional at Freshfields
- a wide range of online skills sessions and university application support during your final two years of school or college.
A number of students will also be selected to take part in a paid residential internship in Year 13 (England and Wales), S6 (Scotland) and Year 14 (Northern Ireland).
This programme is open to students of all ethnic backgrounds, but particularly encourages applications from students from one of the following backgrounds:
- Asian/Asian British
- Black/African/Caribbean/Black British
- Mixed/Multiple ethnic groups
