Thales virtual outreach events for Schools and Colleges

Thales virtual outreach events for Schools and Colleges

We at Thales have needed to adapt the way we deliver our STEM outreach to you and hope that you and your students will be excited to hear of some fantastic virtual events that we will be running in the October half term. The first event which is a one day event (being repeated on the 26th, 27th and 28th October), is our Thales Insight Day. This event is open to any student from years 11-13 interested in a career in STEM. The event is made up of a series of talks, workshops and live Q&A where students will have the opportunity to learn more about Thales and the range of STEM careers that are available to young people. There will be lots of information on the skills and attributes needed for these roles and our Early Careers Team will walk students through what to expect from an Assessment Centre which is now the preferred way for many large businesses to interview for new employees.

In addition this we also have two events aimed at both parents and Carers and Teachers and Advisers. On the 27th from 6-7.30pm we will be hosting a virtual information evening for Parents and Carers who would like to find out more about STEM roles at Thales including our range of Apprenticeship programmes and our Graduate scheme. The following morning on the 28th we will be holding a breakfast meeting for Teachers and Advisers from 8.00-9.30am where we hope you will have enough time to quiz us with all the questions you might have concerning Apprenticeships and Graduate schemes at Thales.

We would be extremely grateful if you could share this information with any interested students and in turn parents or carers. All the events will need to be booked onto via the Eventbrite links below (bookings close 17/10).
